Ankle Pain Specialist in Schaumburg, IL

Dana Wisby, DPM

Many people often ask me, why did you choose podiatry? What I’ve found over the years is that my answer hasn’t changed but only grown into a more enthusiastic, in depth response. I chose podiatry after graduating from Denison University in Granville, OH. I was a pre-medical biology major and psychology minor looking into the medical field and not really finding my niche.  It was when I looked further into other medical fields, that I discovered this wonderful profession. I was so pleasantly surprised at all the variety that encompasses this field. We get to spend time actually treating patients as well as be trained in the surgical realm so to me, that is the best of both worlds.
